The jet sprays mist every so often to cool you down |
"Soarin over California" by far the BEST ride at California
Adventure. It simulates a hang glider ride over some of
California's most beautiful landscape, the scents sprayed at
the right times were a nice touch: Pine over pine trees,
orange over orange groves, etc.
I thought this was a cool affect especially since the real sun is behind the fake sun |
Taking a picture in front of the Hollywood part of California Adventure |
My favoriate Disney character Goofy! |
The really blue sky in back is really a perspective painting on a building that really intrigued Chris |
Much closer up to the perspective painting, the road is
actually slanted up at an angle to meet the road in the
painting, you can see a definite line this close up as to
where the slanted pavement ends and the painting begins, but
to someone a little farther away, it totally looks like the
street goes on for miles
The perspective painting behind fake buildings, the real sky can be seen in the upper left. |

Gonzo crashed into a wall at the Muppet Labs attraction |
The big roller coaster at California Adventure, gee, it looks like rain :( |
The really cool ferris wheel with sliding cars |
Amy and I in one of the slidy cars on the ferris wheel, boy, it sure is windy up here... |
Not sure what I was taking a picture of ... probably how much the car moved in realtion to the ferris wheel |
Wow, can you ever see far from up at the top fo this ferris wheel |
The California Adventure shoot up ride, no it doesn't drop you fast but it shoots you up fast |
A big "A" for Amy |
A big "C" for Chris |
The entire word: CALIFORNIA. This is the entrance to the California Adventure park. |
A landscape shot of the kitties of the landscape of our bed. |
Mental note: Don't move the camera when trying to take a picture |
Yes that is a plastic tarp on the bed, after the kitties
puked on the bed twice, it was cheaper to buy a tarp than to
keep having the comforter professionally cleaned
Well the rest of the pictures in this series from this one
down probably won't be that exciting. I was buring through
the memory card in the camera to see how many pictures I could
actually take. This one is of the car in the driveway to the
garage.
The side of the house, yes we have dish network |
Another view of the side of the house |
Another view of the side of the house, with the dree that
is bigger than the house to the right. Would you believe we
don't need to water the grass in the winter to get it that
green?
A view of our yard in the foreground and across the street in
the background
Mmm, the sky in perspective to where the house and fence are |
See? I told you that tree was bigger than the house in the
earlier picture! You didn't believe me did you? :)
Between the garage and the fence |
A look at the next door neighbors yard on the left, and down
the street in the front of our house on the right
Another view of across the street with our yard in the foreground |
Our yard in the lower right foreground. Yes we have a burger joint right next door :) |
I must be running out of things to take pictures of. Didn't I get this shot much earlier? |
Part of the garage. Finally that set is over. 56 pictures!
Not bad for one 32 MB Falsh ram card in the camera where the
pictures that are being taken are at 1,800 x 1,200 original
resolution. The big pictures on this site are half the
original size and the thumnails will be 1/8th the original
picture size.
